Madi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Spanish from the University of Maine, Orono. Her research passion is to develop polymeric materials to solve environmental and climate change related problems. Her research is focused on studying the influence of secondary structure of peptides on electrolyte materials. In her free time, she loves to play Ultimate Frisbee, crochet, and travel.
